sports. | Words That Rhyme | Piano

I had the joyful task of translating sports.'s most played song into a piano & vocal duet for the 10 year re-release of their album Demon Daze. Was actually a little nervous of how this would come out, I haven't had a chance to do much arranging of midwest emo rock stuff before now, so as my arrangement took shape the vibe became a little more melodramatic/musical theater-y on piano rather than the ragged honesty of the original. BUT, Kris the singer loved it, and I think purely from a piano perspective this is some of my best work, feels very pianistic and has some textures I'm proud of. I put some extra care into adding articulations, dynamics, fingering suggestions, so this looks like a 'real' piece of music. Enjoy!
