I Built the Sky | Radiatus | Piano

Drummer Andrew Scott & I have a bit of a series going where we arrange full songs for drum & piano duo (with occasional friends joining to add other sounds), then edit together our performances with silly edits as a creative outlet to break up the monotony of video editing.

I've had a bit of chat with Ro of I Built the Sky since the wee days of got-djent, and it has been awesome to see how the music has progressed and fleshed out. While the Zenith Rise has mature brilliant songwriting, hints of that were present on The Sky Is Not the Limit, and Radiatus seemed a good song to tackle for our duo (Drop C songs usually translate pretty well).

Andrew ended up as his live drummer for a tour of Europe just a year or two after this video, funnily enough (and Werner the bass played in my band Aviations filled in on low end as well).

We're working on another batch of these duo tunes for 2022, be on the lookout if you like them!
