Halfsleep is a band from Texas that isn't technically broken up I don't think, but no new releases since 2014. Still play a show once in a while? Members have gone on to be in Terra Collective, various session things, and Nathan Gass (guitar) has his Ginji project that I've done some stuff for.

Anyway, there's a couple halfsleep songs that have a spot or two of piano, here's a quick riff from Opaque that's about 4 minutes into the song. It's the same riff twice so on the repetition I added some stuff™ just for fun.
